This page is different: the figures below are the actual selling prices on Umranex today for what we sell — finishing materials and construction chemicals — computed from the catalogue as the page loads.

What these prices cover — and what they do not
We are a finishing-materials and construction-chemicals platform: tile and porcelain adhesives, waterproofing, plaster and putty, levelling and repair mortars, primers, thermal-insulation systems and paints. We do not trade cement, steel, block or sand, and you will not find their prices here — the daily Facebook price pages are closer to those than we are, and we do not republish a number we do not sell at. Prices above are in US dollars; the Syrian-pound equivalent is shown on each product page at the Central Bank of Syria rate.
What actually moves finishing-material prices in Syria?
Customs and classification
Customs decrees 109 and 110 of 2026 made correct HS classification a real cost difference. The gap between an importer who masters it and one who does not shows up directly in the shelf price.
Inland transport cost
The bar on foreign trucks since February 2026 raised the overland cost, so the difference between material stocked inside the country and material brought on order is a price difference, not only a time one.
The material's EN class
A C1 adhesive bag and a C2TE S1 bag are not one commodity at two prices — polymer content, deformability and performance differ. Comparing prices without comparing classes is the most expensive mistake a Syrian buyer makes.
Quantity and delivery point
The published price is the unit price for any visitor; volume pricing opens for a registered account. Delivery is free above $300 in Damascus and its countryside and above $500 elsewhere — part of the real price, not outside it.
How to compare two prices properly
Compare cost per square metre, not the price of the bag: a cheaper bag consuming 5 kg/m² can cost more in practice than one consuming 3.5 kg/m². Read the consumption figure on the pack, multiply by your area, then compare. The second difference is class: never compare C1 against C2TE.
Price questions
How much does tile adhesive cost in Syria?
It depends on the EN class: a C1 adhesive for standard interior work is cheaper than a flexible C2TE for porcelain and facades, and cheaper again than S1/S2 for movement and pools. Published prices per item are on each product page in the Umranex catalogue and are read live — and the correct comparison is cost per square metre, not price per bag.
Do you publish cement and steel prices?
No. Umranex is a finishing-materials and construction-chemicals platform; we do not trade cement, steel or block, so we do not publish their prices. We publish only the prices of what we actually sell — real selling prices, not market estimates.
Dollars or Syrian pounds?
Base prices are in US dollars, with the new Syrian pound equivalent shown at the Central Bank of Syria rate. The price on the product page is the reference — read it live rather than relying on a cached figure.
Are there lower wholesale prices?

Why do prices differ between governorates?
The difference is inland transport, not the material. That is why delivery is free above $300 in Damascus and its countryside and above $500 in other governorates — below that a shipping cost is calculated and shown before the order is confirmed.
